Restaurant Jobs for 3-11-2010

Finally, there are a decent number of job listings to report; it looks as if the employment market may be on the rebound! Without further ado, here they are:

Findlay McDonald's is offering an opportunity to work and grow with our dynamic team as an hourly manager or salary assistant manager. Must be 18 years of age or older and be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Apply at www.mcohio.com/2274, Careerbuilder.com, or Monster.com.

Tokyo Steak House is now hiring for all positions. Walk in applications only, now being accepted at 1800 Tiffin Ave (at the Findlay Village Mall).

Stevi B's Pizza is now hiring a Manager Trainee. Resumes should be faxed to 214-853-5027 or you can fill out an application in person at 7535 Patriot Drive (in front of Menard's).

Tony's Restaurant is now hiring Servers and Hostesses. Walk-in applications only, now being accepted at 10280 US-224 (between Rettig Bros. Furniture and the Auction Barn).

Domino's Pizza is looking for Drivers for full-time or part-time, with a good driving record (less than 3 driving violations in the last 3 years). Walk in applications only, now being accepted at 224 N. Main St. from 10am-3pm or 7pm-11:30pm.

Rose Villa is now hiring for the position of Grill Cook, needed evenings between 3:30-9pm. Walk-in applications are now being accepted 1130 Logan Ave. (across from the airport).

Just a reminder to all of you job-hunters; use your heads when deciding when to apply at a restaurant. Sometimes a restaurant will say in their listing what times they will accept applications (like Domino's up there), but most of them don't. Just remember that, if you show up during their busy times (during the lunch or dinner rush), they will probably think that you don't know anything about restaurants. Your best bet is to apply between 2-4pm whenever possible to make the best impression-and maybe even score you an on-the-spot interview.

If you know of any job openings, feel free to send them our way and we'll post them up as soon as we get them. Also, if you have any gossip about why a place is hiring, either post in the comments section about it (you can do that anonymously!) or shoot us an email at findlayeatsout@gmail.com and we'll put it up on the site. Don't worry; we'll leave out names and incriminating details.
