Our sources tell us that a longtime manager of The Landing Pad, Dawn Faeth, has left the restaurant due to a planned move. We saw the ads in The Courier a while back, and wondered who they were going to bring in to take over her job; it seems as if they have filled the position internally, promoting former server Amber Terry.
While those of you who frequent The Landing Pad will likely miss Dawn, don't fret. We remember Amber from her days behind the bar at (the now defunct) TKO's Restaurant & Sports Bar, and we have full confidence that she'll be a star in her new role.
The Landing Pad is located at 1123 Trenton Ave., in the new Wal-Mart plaza. Their phone number is 419-425-0250 and, while their website is currently "Under Construction," you can visit their Facebook fan page.
