New Feature Coming: The Other Side of the Counter

So much of what we hear about a restaurant comes either from word of mouth (friends and family), traditional media sources (television, The Courier, etc.), or from sites like this (as well as Urbanspoon, Yelp!, Buzzd, and so on). However, what makes our opinions worth listening to? We feel that sometimes, to get the straight dope, you need to hear what a restaurant is like from the people who work there. More so, who would know more about a restaurant than the owner?

Coming soon, we will be featuring interviews with the owners of several local restaurants. We will be asking them questions about themselves, their restaurants, and their customers (that's you!). We hope that, through this series, you will gain a greater understanding of the restaurants you already know and love, and what it is like to be on the other side of the counter, as it were.

Check back soon for the first interview-we're keeping it a secret who it is with, but we assure you it will be worth reading!
