Restaurant Jobs for 8-11-2010

We know it's been a while since we posted anything for all of you prospective food service workers, but as summer draws to a close we recognize that the need for work is ever-present.  As such, here is what we've found for you today-and it's full of management-level opportunities!:

Vito's Pizza is now hiring for the position of General Manager.  Pay commensurate with experience. Non-smokers preferred,  drug testing required. Email resume to barbcb@bex.net or apply in person at 1500 N. Main St. (in the Family Video plaza).

McDonald's is now hiring a Restaurant Shift Manager. Must be 18 years of age or older, and must be able to work opening, closing, weekends, and holidays.  Apply in person at 731 Trenton Ave. or online at CareerBuilder.com.

Bob Evans is now hiring for the position of Restaurant Assistant Manager.  Applications are currently only being accepted online at CareerBuilder.com.

Chipotle Mexican Grill is now hiring for the following positions: Service Manager, Front Line Crew Members, Kitchen Manager, and Grill Crew Members.  Apply in person at 15067 US Route 224 (by the Verizon Store and Olive Garden) or apply online at SnagAJob.com.

We've said it before, and we'll say it again-there must be something terrifying about working at Chipotle Mexican Grill, because we are pretty sure they have been hiring for these same positions at least once a month for the last year.  Being the General Manager at Vito's Pizza must not be a very rewarding experience, either-from what we've heard, they've gone through three GM's this year so far!  If any of you have any insight into either of these workplaces please share it with our job hunters in the Comments section.

If you know of any job openings, feel free to send them our way and we'll post them up as soon as we get them. Also, if you have any gossip about why a place is hiring, either post in the comments section about it (you can do that anonymously!) or shoot us an email at findlayeatsout@gmail.com and we'll put it up on the site. Don't worry; we'll leave out names and incriminating details.

I used to work at Vito's, and I'll tell you the reason they can't keep a manager: The owners are terrible! They rode the first GM so hard he experienced severe health problems from the stress. I hope they lighten up on whoever they hire next!
